Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration

Eucharistic adoration is the adoration of Jesus Christ present in the Holy Eucharist. In parishes with Eucharistic adoration, the Eucharist is displayed in a special vessel called a monstrance, and people come to pray and worship in the presence of Jesus. Perpetual Eucharistic adoration is when the Eucharist is displayed and adored continually throughout the day and night without interruption.

Saints Peter and Paul began perpetual Eucharistic adoration in 2003. The blessed Sacrament is exposed in the monstrance in our Eucharistic chapel seven days a week, 365 days a year. The only time the blessed Sacrament is not exposed in the monstrance is during the celebration of Mass.

The schedule for Eucharistic adoration at our parish is divided into hourly commitments which adorers fulfill weekly. If you would like to adopt an open hour or share an hour with someone as a prayer partner, either by alternating weeks or by praying together, please call the parish office to contact Deacon Tim or Vicky Barnes.

If unable to commit to one hour each week, anyone is welcome to visit Jesus in the Eucharist any time of any day.
