Religious Education

Centering our vision on the person of Jesus Christ, and our minds and hearts on the Gospel, we have committed ourselves to a ministry of catechesis, sharing our faith as it is revealed through Scripture, Liturgy, Tradition, and Doctrine.  We accept our mission, therefore, to develop and enrich the faith experience of our students through our teaching and by our lives.

What is taught in religious education classes cannot replace the deeper experience of Christian family life and worship.  Nor is it a substitute for regular attendance at Sunday liturgy.  Children in all grades are expected to attend Mass with their parents each Sunday.  Also each chapter in our text books, provides opportunities for family sharing and praying.

Registration Packets for All Religious Education Programs for our children, youth and young adults will be available in the narthex the weekend of August 25th and 26th,  and September 1 and 2, 2012.

For questions about any of our Religious Education Programs contact Libby Downs at or (270) 885-8522.
